Empire is a 2CD+BluRay set with 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio and a 16-page booklet. It capturies Big Big Train’s excellent set at the Hackney Empire on November 2, 2019 during their UK Tour. 

This stunning live performance includes twelve songs from English Electric, Folklore, Grimspound, and Grand Tour. It was filmed by Toward Infinity’s Tim Sidwell and audio mixed by BBT’s sound engineer Rob Aubrey. 

Sadly, this is the last performance to feature recently departed BBT members Dave Gregory, Rachel Hall and Danny Manners.

NdV’s megaphone/radio voice during Winkie, about the hero role of a pigeon in wartime. The formidable vocal duo Longdon/D’Virgilio during the acoustic intro and outro to The Florentine.
