It was made after the \u003ci\u003eIgnus Fatuus\u003c\/i\u003e line-up had disbanded. Originally intended to be a solo album by Jacob Holm-Lupo, it turned into a White Willow record when he realized it was going more in a progressive direction than anticipated. No krumhorns or renaissance vocal groups, more electric guitar and synths. The songs range from almost neo-progish mini-epics like \u003ci\u003eLeaving the House of Thanatos\u003c\/i\u003e, via acoustic balladry (\u003ci\u003eThe Book of Love\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eThirteen Days\u003c\/i\u003e) to more overtly gothic stuff like \u003ci\u003eA Strange Procession\u003c\/i\u003e \u0026amp; \u003ci\u003eA Dance of Shadows\u003c\/i\u003e.
