Less than two years after the release of his first solo album, Maciej Meller decided to take a new fresh take on 6 of the compositions from his debut solo album Zenith. As the title states, this is an acoustic arrangement of the songs. Where that can sometimes turn to a quiet affair - completely rearranging the songs and replacing the original guitar parts with other instruments such as trumpet, saxophone etc. has brought a whole other dimension to these songs while maintaining the liveliness of the originals. Which version is the best? There really is no saying, they are different and perfect, each their own way. You really need them both … and then we haven’t even told you about the live version yet 😊
