The Michael Dunn Project

Once upon a time, Michael Dunn was a “long haired git” playing guitar in the Vancouver bar scene. A shift into the world of recording studios as a trainee engineer at Vancouver’s famed Mushroom Studios introduced him to many of Canada’s top recording artists of the day. Highlights included working on sessions with a certain Ringo Starr and the demo tapes for Bryan Adams. It took 40 years to ‘get around to it’ but, in 2023, he finally recorded the album he had been promising himself to do “some day”. (Can you relate?)

Guitarist and composer Michael Dunn brought together an outstanding ensemble cast that includes guests Amanda Lehmann (Steve Hackett Band), Andy Tillison (The Tangent), and Joe Deninzon (Kansas, Stratospheerius) for his debut album Bridge Across the Years.

Released in 2023 to glowing critical response, this blend of progressive and hard rock makes a powerful first statement. We’re excited to welcome The Michael Dunn Project to our roster, especially as work begins on the follow-up.
