Advent Horizon

USA based prog rockers Advent Horizon are making waves in the progressive music world and beyond. The band is a project of pure creative passion. The brainchild of artist/producer Rylee McDonald and drummer Mike Lofgreen, Advent Horizon's goal is to bring a new, fresh sound to the progressive rock/metal world. 

Featuring Cason Wood on keys/bass and Grant Matheson on guitars, Advent Horizon seamlessly blends melodicism, complexity, and emotion. Their first three critically acclaimed releases (2011’s Immured, 2015’s Stagehound, and 2023's A Cell To Call Home) set the stage for their first live release, Live at ProgStock 2024. 

Following the success of their 2024 live appearances, Advent Horizon has returned to the studio and is poised to announce their 4th full length studio album, which features a side-long 20-minute epic track and 5 other heavy hitting progressive rock/metal songs.
