Advent Horizon – Stagehound (CD)
Advent Horizon’s critically acclaimed second full-length album Stagehound was released May 19, 2015. This album was written over the course of 4 years and explores a wide range of genres including metal, funk, folk, progressive rock and even jazz. Stagehound has a dramatically different sound from any of Advent’s other releases due to its lack of piano, organ, synthesizer or any other keyboard-based instruments. Its soundscape is made entirely of drums, bass, vocals and a wall of guitars. The end result is raw, passionate and at times vintage.
