Cydonia

Cydonia is a prog-band from Freiburg in the south of Germany. Their debut album Stations was released in December 2022.

The beginning of the band dates back to 2007, but it took another 12 years with various line-up changes until the current ideal formation was found. In order to fully realize the ideas of progressive rock of the Cydonia brand, singer Michael Bernauer was needed to complete the cast. In the years before, the repertoire was continuously advanced. The songs, at times, due to lack of a lead singer, became especially instrumental and continued to develop - becoming more multifaceted and sometimes exceeding the 10-minute mark. The current line-up, with lead singer Michael, gives Cydonia songs the finishing touch, as you will hear on their debut album Stations.
