The Cyberiam - Unobtainium LP
The Cyberiam will release their 3rd studio album “Unobtainium” on May 22, 2024.
This highly anticipated music will be the band's first ever vinyl release and the band's 7th product since their founding in 2017.
With the songs wide ranging lengths and styles, this album will cater to every prog listener. The band’s sound has been compared to many of their musical mentors and heroes – Dream Theater, Rush, Marillion, Tool, Porcupine Tree, Spock’s Beard, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. All of those influences can be heard throughout the band’s discography, but The Cyberiam have a sound and a style that is their own unique brand of hard/heavy progressive rock.
Unobtainium was written by band members in 2022/23 and recorded at Sempleton Studios in 2023. As with the band’s previous releases, mixing and production was done by Keith Semple and mastering by prog legend Andy Van Dette. Album art inspiration by Tommy Murray, designed by Keith Semple and created by Kelli Novak.
Keith, Brian, Tommy and Frank are very excited to share their latest creation with the world. They said “the songs on this new release are shorter in general than on previous albums. This was a concentrated effort to ‘get to the good stuff’ quicker.”
