Hex A.D. is a Norwegian doom and progressive metal band formed in Larvik, Norway The group was originally created by Rick Hagan (drums, guitar, vocals) and producer Chris Tsangarides. Now, the lineup includes Matt Hagan on drums, Are Gogstad on bass, and Mags Johansen (Deep Purple) on keyboards.

The band's tyle blends traditional doom metal with progressive elements, heavy guitar riffs, and a touch of 70s classic rock influences. Their music often features organ and mellotron, creating a rich, atmospheric layer.
