2084 Empire is the new album from Built for the Future. It is the second and third part of an Orwellian saga that began with their previous album 2084 Heretic. It's a double album of Orwell themes and gritty dystopian vibes. The album includes the 26-minute suite Oceania and the band feels that this is their best album to date.
The album was conceived as an epic trilogy, and I am very proud of the feeling that we achieved. The dark dystopian take on Orwell feels oddly fitting today. ~ Patric
This album represents a renewed feeling of satisfaction in how we work together on songwriting and idea collaboration. It is not surprising that our combined contributions have pushed us to create our best work so far. ~ Kenny
