Big Big Train

Big Big Train has a long backstory. The band was originally founded in 1990 and went through a number of line-up changes in the first 15 or so years of its existence.

In 2009, the band decided on a fresh start and the current version of Big Big Train began to take shape. Since then, Big Big Train has gone on to win four Progressive Music Awards, has played a number of sold-out shows and has seen 2017's Grimspound reach number one in the official UK rock charts and number 45 in the official UK album charts.

In 2019, Big Big Train became a Top 40 band with the release of their Progressive Music Awards Album of the Year, Grand Tour. in 2020, they released Empire, a live Blu-ray/2 CD set.

In 2021, the band made good use of their pandemic downtime by releasing both the remixed/remastered The Underfall Yard and new studio album Common Ground, which had them charting on the official UK charts once again.

The band will usher in 2022 with the release of Welcome To The Planet on January 28.
