United Progressive Fraternity (UPF) is passionately committed to empowering change in the world by leading an artistic & musical movement dedicated to sustainable environmental practices as our planet is on the verge of collapse.
UPF is supported by a growing collective of international artists, musicians, producers, promoters, etc. who give freely of their time to support this critical mission to bring about a much-needed change in our troubled world.
“We have said before that UPF isn’t just about being a band and making music. More than this, it is what the band and its music stand for – a message to humanity about our environment and how we can make a change to save our distressed planet. You are there with us on this journey and that is why our concept exists in the form that it does. The more people that are involved to help us, whether it be from a musical, artistic, or a networking/media, the better our success will be in this. - The Message: To promote environmental and social awareness, directly relating to the state of Planet Earth and the human condition. The message is one of hope, highlighting that we can make a difference through the power of music. To inspire responsible stewardship of the earth through personal integrity, leadership, activism, and promotion of the message, partnership with eco-friendly companies, distribution of information and sustainable consumer habits (recycling, reusable items, clean energy adoption).
- Mission Statement: “To produce great music, as a collective concept, whilst conveying a message of peace, hope and global awareness”
- The Concept: To foster collaboration and shared ideas with other Musicians, Artists and Writers, and to encourage participation and association with the core band. Performing artists from all over the world have shown their support for the message by lending their talents to the projects of the United Progressive Fraternity. Touring the message with eco-friendly sponsorships will further enhance the message in the form of live musical concert performances, a form of outreach event.
- The Music: To produce creative, inspiring and thought provoking, original music, tapping into musical influences from all parts of the world.
