The Boxx Orchestra

Founded in 2016 by prolific composer Jan Boekestein, The Boxx Orchestra has been captivating audiences with their symphonic rock sound. Comprising Ria Mulder on lead vocals, Jos van der Zanden on guitars and backing vocals, Jan Boekestein on keyboards and backing vocals, Walter Hüsstege on bass, and Kees Schollen on drums, the band’s lineup solidified to deliver a powerful musical experience. 

The bad describe themselves as a Dutch powerrock/progrock band. Their debut album, Out of the Boxx, released in 2021, showcased their talent and creativity, garnering widespread acclaim and airplay with singles like The Eye of the Storm and A Star Almost Fell. The Boxx Orchestra’s 2024 release The Horn of Plenty, is an immersive journey through their symphonic progressive rock landscape.
