All profits will go to the Wounded Warriors Project, a charity supporting U.S. military service members and veterans. The album features music by Boreal Taiga, Byron Metcalf (with Steve Roach), Jon Jenkins, Jonn Serrie, Dave Luxton, Robert Rich, Matt Borghi & Michael Teager, and Vic Hennegan. With more than 70 minutes of ambient atmospheric musical bliss, this album is intended to soothe the mind, body, and soul.
"A remarkably serene and cohesive compilation of ambient heavyweights and slightly lesser-knowns. Dave Luxton did an excellent job of curating this collection -- the pieces don't directly connect, but when played in the background everything blends beautifully. It's largely a beatless affair, save for Metcalf and Roach's tribal-ambient entry, with moods ranging from calming, haunting, to uplifting (the unexpected sax work on the finale is worth a mention).
