Robert Reed
Robert Reed is a Welsh progressive rock musician, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known for his work with bands such as Cyan, Kompendium, Magenta, The Fyreworks, Tiger Moth Tales, and solo projects. He is also the founder of White Knight Records.
Reed’s career began with progressive rock band Cyan as their guitarist, keyboardist, and composer. His music blends the classic elements of 1970s progressive rock with contemporary influences, often drawing inspiration from artists like Mike Oldfield (especially Tubular Bells), Genesis, Yes, and Renaissance. He is known for his melodic approach, prioritizing songwriting and atmosphere over technical showmanship.
