Valp

Valp has danceable, explosive and catchy expression, mixed with melancholic and honest lyrics in a Stavanger, Norway dialect! This genre-crossing band began at the jazz program in Stavanger and has been making music together since 2017, releasing two studio albums. The music is full of originality and energy. It borrows from different styles - surf rock, indie and melodic rap to name a few. 

The lyrics are characterized by heartbreak, inferiority complexes, challenges around becoming an adult and thoughts about life itself. The theme is presented in a subtle and distinctive way, with a high recognition factor.
