Deforestation is the duo of Adrian Jones & Brendan Eyre. 50 Days of Rain is a journey through soundscapes and environments - a rich tapestry of instrumental music that weaves through electronica, sound collages and acoustic recordings. Recorded over a period of 5 years, the ebb and flow of fortune and misfortune with its own rhythms, the end result is a cohesive emotional journey through the damaged and ever-changing world around us. Textured, nuanced, and haunting - brought to life by the diversity of the two composers’ influences and styles. Despite many setbacks, delays, and obstacles, the journey is at an end and the music speaks for itself. The astonishing mix provides an immersive experience for the listener. The CD version of the album contains 3 bonus tracks which do not appear on the vinyl edition.
