Klone

Klone is a French progressive metal band from Poitiers. The band was originally formed in 1995 under the name Sowat. In 1999, Sowat renamed itself Klone.

After the release of two demos in 2002 and 2003, Klone released Duplicate, a first self-produced album, in January 2004. In 2008, Klone released the album All Seeing Eye, which followed in 2010 by Black Days. In 2012, Klone released the album The Dreamer's Hideaway. In 2017, Klone released the live acoustic album titled Unplugged. The latest album Le Grand Voyage was released in 2019 and marked a turning point for Klone by becoming the only French band to sign on the English label Kscope alongside mainstays of the progressive scene.
