Robin Boult is a seasoned session musician who has worked with many artists over the years, notably Fish and Howard Jones, but also played with Marillion once when Steve Rothery was on his honeymoon. During many long hours on tour busses, Robin got the itch to create and that is how this album came to be. In Robin’s own words:
“This album has been around for a long time. Each tune is a gift for someone close to me. I recorded it years ago after too much time spent on tour busses & needed to get something out of my system. hence my alter ego… the itch. People still ask for it, so I thought I’d make it available again. It’s nylon guitars, ethnic percussion & synths. Health Warning. Probably best not to listen to it in your car if your alone… it’s pretty chilled.” – Robin Boult
