Four Block Empire - Time and Miles (CD)
While the connection to Marillion and Edison's Children is not obvious to most, a true diehard will spot it immediately. Four Block Empire's Mike Gusway has performed on stage with Edison's Children, helped film one of their shows, and has been Pete Trewavas' bass tech during the Marillion Weekend in Montreal.
Time and Miles is the debut full-length album from Detroit based rock quartet, Four Block Empire (4BE). This all original collection of songs is influenced by the blues, classic, progressive and modern rock, country, funk, and jam band rock. The lyrics range from loss, heartache and despair to faith, friendship and loyalty. The band crafted this record from over four years of writing and performing. The originality, experimentation and top-notch production on this record reflect four extremely talented and dedicated artists.
The eco-friendly glossy gatefold packaging and CD showcases the design work of 4BE's own Ian Tadashi Moore.
